Apartments Vallis Rabiosa by Adex Travel

Great communication. We was delayed and arrived later than expected. We received a video and pictures of where to go once we arrived. This really helped at 2:30am. We had communication via WhatsApp so the host was able to help me with the air con and WiFi when we arrived tired and couldn’t work out how to turn it on. The apartment was spotless and really lovely. Good size fridge, a freezer and also a dishwasher. Had the basics provided such as dish soap, sponge and towels. We loved the decor and the vibe. Air con was good and the sun shutters really did keep the apartment cold. The garden was stunning to look at. Beautiful olive trees and grapes and rosemary growing. Saw little cute lizards. Honestly it is beautiful. Lovely outdoor seating area. Option for a bbq. Children’s swings and see saw. Overall a lovely stay

Our shower literally flooded. I’m unsure if it was the drain or a bad design but we could only spend literally 3 minutes inside before it would flood. We had to build a barge of towels to stop it When we arrived we really wanted to dip into the pool however it looked murky from sun cream and not pleasant. We did check this again the next day as we spent all day at the beach and it looked as though the host was filling the pool (presuming cleaning it) however it still didn’t look amazingly clean so we did not use it for 2 days. This was rectified then the next day and we was able to use the pool for a few hours before our flight which was lovely. It may of been due to the pool being used in the day but the murky colour was off putting. Not a fault with the property but buy some inspect repellent to spray yourself In. The property gave us a plug in which worked wonders but obviously due to the garden we shared our accommodation with bugs. We was fine with this. They stayed on their side and we had our side. They must of been on vacation also :-)

We loved having easy access to the pool. The studio apartment was the perfect size for a couple and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and happy to give us advice throughout the whole trip. She gave us a complimentary souvenir to take away (which we forgot to take, so sad!) but it was a very nice touch.we loved being walking distance from the beach.

Air conditioning could be better, especially for warm nights in bed. But really the trip was lovely, that's only a very small suggestion.

Very clean, had full cooking facilities and quiet area. Owners are lovely and keep in contact and are on site if needed. Quiet area, 10 minutes to bus stop and nearest restaurant. Bus cheap and easy to get to old town.

The pool wasn’t open yet and wasn’t aware season didn’t start until June.

The host was excellent and took care of us - over and above the topics one would expect for … to make us feel home.

Nothing to dislike

The host was friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the location was tranquil. The family produce their own wine too which is delicious. There is an excellent restaurant locally (about 10 minutes walk away) the Taverna. It specialises in fresh fish dishes. The local bus service is excellent and incredibly reliable. There is a daily market in Zadar old town selling fresh fish, fruit and veg. You will witness the stallholders shelling peas to sell. We took a day boat trip to Kornati and saw dolphins. The scenery is breath taking.

As we arrived out of season the pool was closed. Some of the local amenities e.g. restaurants and cafes were also closed. There were a lot of road works locally meaning there were uneven paths and access to the local beaches were affected.
