"Lovely stay at Southlands"

Lovely little b&b situated in centre of bourton on water. Tony and Jule's very welcoming. Delicious breakfast too. Parking handy outside, and can even walk up to Bourton itself without bringing car in.

"War ein toller Aufenthalt - Dankeschön an die Gastgeber"

Wir hatten Zimmer 5 - eines der kleineren Zimmer Parterre - und haben 4* fĂŒr einen Wanderurlaub hier ĂŒbernachtet. Das Zimmer ist - wie auch die ĂŒbrige Anlage - neu renoviert und die FlĂ€che wird optimal genutzt. Nennenswert sind hierzu z.B. der Eckspiegelschrank im Bad, die grosszĂŒgige Dusche und die Elektroinstallation mit vielen AnschlĂŒssen und einem USB-Port. Der Schrank ist etwas klein geraten - war aber ausreichend fĂŒr unseren Zweck. Als Ablage haben wir auch den Fenstersims genutzt. Wir haben nach unseren Wanderungen den Wintergarten gerne genutzt - bei gutem Wetter kann man sich auch aussen hinsetzen. Ein dicker Pluspunkt ist -neben dem exzellenten FrĂŒhstĂŒck - die gut ausgerĂŒstete Bar im Aufenthaltsraum. GetrĂ€nke und Snacks sind hier zu einem sehr guten Preis erhĂ€ltlich. Besonders gefallen hat uns die freundliche, nahezu familiĂ€re AtmosphĂ€re mit Kontakten zu den Mitbewohnern.

"Just a gem of a place in a beautiful Cotswold village!"

Jules and Tony are fabulous hosts and have done a wonderful job remodeling this gem. Breakfast is included and there is lots of choice - oats, full english breakfast, cereals, yogurt, coffee/tea, pastries, fruit, juices. The rooms are very comfy and have tea/biscuits/water for snacking. Lots of local info - hiking maps are in the rooms to give guests ideas of where to walk, other attractions in the area. We loved our time here! I would rate it a 9.5.

Our bathroom shower pressure was a bit low, but I believe the hosts are addressing this.

"Outstanding stay"

We had a wonderful stay at Southlands B&B! The cottage has been recently renovated with incredible style and taste, it felt both modern and cozy. The garden is absolutely impeccable. Our host was amazing and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. To top it off, the breakfast was outstanding, featuring high-quality products that really set us up for the day. A perfect gem in Bourton-on-the-Water!
