The Old Dairy (Chute Forest)

Guests have access to a kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and two electric hobs. I was able to self cater with simple meals all week. Because there are only 2 rooms to share the kitchen, the foot traffic/conflict is never unmanageable. Wifi was strong and fast. Room was comfortable, clean, large and quiet. Hamlet location is lovely. Property has some charm and character. On site parking is adequate. Owners are non-intrusive.

This place is ideal for me as a base while I'm working in the area. It may not suit people who want or need a more hotel type level of support or experience. So not so much a "didn't like" more a "not for every type of traveller".

The property is located in a lovely quiet village, and the locals are very friendly. It was just a peaceful stay

Few spiders in the bathroom which my sister (17yr) is petrified of.

The property was in an amazing setting in the heart of the countryside clean and very comfortable , would certainly recommend it for a relaxing and quiet stay.

A good sized ground floor room with a large, clean, comfortable bed. Room had a TV. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Location is tranquil. Host is unobtrusive. Kitchen facilities enable simple breakfasts and evening meals to be prepared.

Nothing to „not like“ as such, but be aware that you’ll need to bring your own tea, coffee, milk and any provisions to make your own meals. The only missing utensils were a cafetière and a tea pot.

No breakfast only self catering.

Access to door poor. Washing machine and waste bin had some one else’s stuff in. You could not sit up in the bed.No hand towels. It was not a homely place.
