Whitchurch Farm Guesthouse

A lovely welcome after a tiresome journey and a cool, comfortable room based in a super farmhouse. Lots of parking. We thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast. Very friendly owner - thanks for looking after us on our journey.

Very good choice at breakfast and all very fresh and well presented

Whitchurch Farm is a beautiful, historic house with loads of character. We had a warm welcome from the host and felt at home. The views from the huge windows were lovely and there was an air of peace and tranquillity throughout.

This is an old house and it's to be expected that there are quirks as a result but the age of some of the fixtures and fittings gave an odd musty smell to the room. Modern, fresh bed linen and towels would cheer up the rather dated appearance and feel.of the bedrooms. The breakfast was fine but some.of the cups and cutlery were not completely clean and the jug of milk or cream was on the turn. It felt odd to be serving ourselves from the landing and eating in the bedroom. We would have preferred a dining room.setting.

Peaceful spacious rural accommodation.

Would have preferred breakfast in dining-room with other guests rather than served from landing into bedroom.

The host was very helpful when I arrived, as I had come by bus and needed a place to eat. Amazing breakfast - so much choice, and a good idea to eat it in your own room. Would certainly come again if passing that way.

I don't think there was any wifi.

Lovely host and quiet place to decompress.
