Fabulous buffet breakfast served on a table in the hallway outside the bedrooms, so much choice of fruit, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled egg, ham, cheese, bread. There is a fridge in the hallway for all guests to use. Tea and coffee in your room, refreshed every day. The owner is very friendly and very helpful for local advise. Less than 15 minute drive to Stratford and easy to see the Cotswold area from here too. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Excellent location, ideal for a break from city life. The host was very friendly and the farm provided a home-like feeling!

A snappy cross woman opened the door..no welcome, snapped at and snarled at..hostile, stated she was very busy and shunted us up the stairs to stay quiet in our little room, and not to leave. no lounge area, no communal space.

Getting snapped at after a 7 hour drive, not able to relax, shunted up to the aged room, no communal space, inspite of it being 'a 600 acre farm and I'm VERY BUSY' As I'm from a (larger) farm I understand being busy by by God...if you cant at least be polite...dont bother. REGRET going here, utter waste of an overnight stay. Breakfast is dumped on a table in the hall way outside of the room. Really felt unusually unwelcomed. She did message next day to apologise about her bad temper, but too late..we just wanted a nice evening which she ensured was not gonna happen.

Communication between the owner Elizabeth and i prior to the stay was very good. She very kindly accommodated my need to drop my car off in the morning and pick up my key before going on to a wedding. She left clear instructions how to access the farmhouse in case she was out working on the farm, but as it turns out she was at home. Elizabeth is a very down to earth host who is easy to chat with. The room was described as "small double" but it was actually quite a large room. Memory foam mattress on bed made for a very luxurious, comfortable sleep. small ensuite bathroom featured a very good shower (I had dribbling ones"). A perhaps uncommon feature of this stay is that a breakfast buffet is laid out early in the morning on a table on the landing outside the guest rooms, then guests can select their food and eat it at a table beside the bedroom window, overlooking the fields around. Buffet consisted of breads, sliced cheese, ham, two salamis, boiled eggs, tomatoes, yoghurt, fruit juices and more. Thank you Elizabeth for a very pleasant stay that also meant that i could easily attend a family wedding.
