Shipwrecked Hostel

Felt like home so I kept extending my stay. The owners and staff are amazing and incredibly welcoming. The space is cozy, extra clean and close to everything you might need. This is for sure my go to hostel in Uvita - Thanks Christina and Sanders for building this space and sharing your great energy 🙏🏼

Couldn't have found a better place for my stay in Uvita. Super friendly atmosphere. Cozy place and even though staying in a dorm, I could still get some privacy. ☺️

We really liked the idea of shared beds in a dorm

I forgot an item at the hostel - I get it that that was my fault but the way that the hosts “helped” in this situation was completely unprofessional and the worst in any of my travels. they knew that after uvita we travelled to the complete opposite side of the country and that we depended on their contribution. As a host of an accompanying helping your guests out in a situation like this is your job. But they didn’t even try at ALL. They wouldn’t reply for days, refusing to give information and beeing simply uncooperative. In the end I had to organising everything by myself by contacting a local. Luckily I got my item back but with NO help from the hosts.

Great hostel. Love the idea of a double bed in a dorm room. There was lots of privacy thanks to the curtain. The upstairs chilling area was really nice, and loved the yoga mats and blocks, as well as hammock and comfy chairs. Good sized kitchen. Owner friendly and helpful, as were the volunteers and other guests.

The high chairs at the kitchen bench were very difficult to get in and out of, especially if you're shorter than average. I would replace those.

A lovely clean hostal with plenty of atmosphere and space to relax. Super friendly hosts with restaurant recommendations.

can’t fault this place. new hostel. super clean. great kitchen and a great social space to relax/work/workout. close to the supermarket. comfy roofs and helpful staff.
