Wonderful old charming barn. Wonderful and friendly host, beautiful part of the world.

Despite our late arrival, we were met by the owner, who very pleasantly showed us around the property. It was spacious, with a place to eat, able to watch tv, and comfortable bedrooms.

Stairs a little scary, open at the side, so beware with children.

The price is far too expensive for the level of accommodation. Extremely basic and beds very uncomfortable. Note recommended.

Proximity to Le Shuttle. It was very clean.

Password to internet did not work, remote to tv did not work, stairs incredibly steep.

Very tired internal decor. No plugs available with either bathroom sinks and insufficient toiletries. A damp smell throughout the house.

it had a horrible smell, unclean, the owner woke up the kids as she stormed upstairs and threw their things on the ground

I didn’t like having to put a £200 deposit down and then have the place inspected before we left. Being told to wash up and out the dishes away - I would do that naturally!! Musty smell everywhere. Lack of a clean surface to eat outside. 2 star maximum.

Beautifully restored listed property, and the owners have worked well to create a pleasant holiday home, with comfortable rooms, high ceilings and gorgeous beams. Kitchen had more gadgets than you would normally find - ie air fryer/breadmaker/blender. Location is great, close to town and main routes through Kent, but also set in beautiful countryside. Sadly didn’t get to use the tennis court or the bbq!
