The bunkbeds in the living room was an odd feature

accommodation has a separate cottage which was very beneficial. comfortable and well laid out.

I like the country or farm aesthetic the house has , it reminds of farmstead homes.

The blankets and bedding were not washed after the previous guests were checked out. I was not happy with the handling of bedding and blankets being dirty and smelly.

Outstanding hospitality of the host with a well appreciated coffee station and just a huge generosity of spirit. Our family group enjoyed the many places to lounge in and relax, the lovely garden with its prolific birdlife, the fireplace and we enjoy heritage houses like this cottage. That the house was so close to town was a bonus and that we were offered a late checkout was so considerate. Thank you Carin!

The house is rustic in keeping with heritage houses and needs some TLC but there was nothing we couldn't overlook. When the hosts were so lovely nothing else mattered.

It’s like a home away from home. Everything you could possibly need, within a cozy setting. The house has so much charm! Stunning view of the mountains and within walking distance of town square.
