The location of this property is superb for rowing. You walk out the gate at you are at the lake. Very convenient for a rowing regatta.

Beautiful garden with the sweet smell of honeysuckle’s.

The fish pond and the beautiful well maintained garden were a plus. When we arrived after a 22h flight + car journey.... we cd not have a hot shower because something went wrong with their pump and it cdnt be fixed before we left. So overall..... for us.... it was a big disappointment. But such things happen and hopefully the host got to replace the pump etc. The breakfast provided was nice.... but confusing for a first time in NZ. It was unclear what wd be charged and what was free. The bathroom decor was pretty.

Not the host's fault..... but if you plug in the address on Google maps..... it took us somewhere else .... atleast 20 min away. (But the ride around the hill was beatiful). So call and check with the host once you come through the bridge. I wish there was a more powerful exhaust in the bathroom.

The room looked out on a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens, a koi fish filled pond, fire pit area and hot tub. Very private and relaxing. The little dog greeter Lola was adorable. The breakfast was a great variety of items. Megan was very nice.

Convenient location to the lake for event. Lovely host. Very good setup with kitchenette. Lovely shower. Great garden.

Absolutely gorgeous setting on the Mighty Waikato River next to Lake Karapiro, this lovely young family has created a serene garden with a koi pond, a fire pit and a hot tub amidst old growth trees and, it just being springtime, had a bursting cherry tree in full bloom that was full of Tui in the morning. The peace, serenity and proximity to my work group hui (5 minute walk across the road) couldn't have been better!

Really nothing! I just wish there had been more time to enjoy what was there, but I was working. 😊 I can picture having someone with me and sharing a fire and a soak in the evening out there, talking with the hosts over a wine.
