Clean, fantastic location, very hospitable, great facilities, family home but private.

Nothing, it was a great stay

I booked this for a colleague and his wife so can't comment in detail but they were very happy with the room and the location and had only good things to say about it. A great, comfortable stay, conveniently located directly across the road from Mighty River Domain. Peaceful and quiet. l A great stay.

We were a family of three and occupied the 2 rooms available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the accommodation comfortable. Bathrooms and furnishings were looking rather tired but all functional. Rooms were serviced each day. Our rooms were to one side of the home, relatively private and overlooked a fish pond and garden. Breakfast provisions were enjoyable and delivered each day for your own preparation including a fruit and yoghurt compote. Hosts were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the occasional company of the family pet, Lola the dog.

The linen and towells were not your usual crisp white but appeared clean. We considered it expensive.

We chose this location vs "town" as we wanted something close to Hobbiton and a bonus of Riverside kayaking to see glow worms. What a find! Just beautiful and well appointed!
