Fantastic place to stay, tucked away in a beautiful setting where you are made to feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. We could have happily stayed for longer.

Best breakfast to start the day. Very homely feel and nice and quiet. Block out blinds are excellent for a sleep in. Will be back if in Cambridge again.

It was lovely to sit outside in the morning and enjoy the breakfast.

Location. Fantastic garden.

First came here in 2018 and only stayed one night, this time stayed two as we loved it here so much. Quiet location, beautiful garden and surroundings plus a hot tub. Accommodation well suited to a few nights stay and Megan's breakfast supplies are excellent. Well placed to visit Hobbiton, about forty minutes drive away. Megan is an excellent host and has an outgoing, friendly personality. .

Nothing to dislike about this property, but at the time of posting this, November 2024, the road across Karapiro Dam is closed so you need to go through Leamington rather than having to backtrack. Our car satnav took us to the closed road, Google Maps is more up to date.

Very secluded, lovely grounds and area

The beautiful landscaped garden and hot tub are fantastic and very much worth coming here. The room was extremely large, beautiful and comfortable.

The only let-down was the instant coffee for breakfast - everything else is so high end that the place really would deserve a Nespresso machine!😉 At least it was a high-end version of instant coffee, the double shot macchiato was particularly good (not too sweet).
