Sona, is so nice, cute and lovely. The cooking lesson was perfect we learned to cook chipotle :) We felt like at home:)

It's a safe, clean, lovely little guest house and Sona makes the stay in Varanasi so easy - she cooks indian and western dishes, she can offer you a boatride, trip around the city or transfer from and to the airport, as well as yoga/cooking/music classes. Rooms are tiny but comfortable.

Just a short walk to the Assi Ghat, yet surprisingly quiet neighbourhood. The small house is very clean and so are the rooms. Nice contact with the owners - Sona and her family are the perfect hosts. I made a Ganga boat trip at sunrise and it is truly worth the early wake up. Also took a trip to Sarnath. All the trips and the airport pick up or drop-off can be booked through the gust house. My personal highlight was the cooking class with Sona. I cook every day for my family, even indian dishes. But there is still a lot I could learn from her. Thank you Sona!

This is indeed a homestay. Sona and her family share there home with the guests, which I found really nice.

My room had no windows. Which I found disappointing. After using the shower it did not dry easily..

Really friendly staff, very homely. Nice, clean rooms. Quieter location for escaping the busier parts of town.

I stayed in a double room with private bath, no A/C but ceiling fan is working perfectly. Room and bathroom are small but clean and comfortable. If you are a seasoned traveller like myself, you will appreciate this level of comfort in this part of the world at a reasonable price. Hotels in this price range lose against this guest house experience Sona was very helpful and available to provide advice and contacts to visit the city. Her cooking Is delicious! Another plus point Is her very good English (and her daughter too) which will make your life a lot easier. My advice is to use her contacts, their price Is fair and you spare yourself the hassle of bargaining, making phone calls with non-English speakers etc., not knowing with whom you'll end up.

For your information If you can't climb stairs, don't choose this guest house. This has nothing to do with the guest house, for info only, you will not be able to get a motorbike or tuktuk with app Ola and Uber, the option is offered but nobody turns up, maybe because prices are way lower through the app, just saying...

I had a really nice stay in Azure. The owner gave me so many helpful tips to enjoy Varanasi as much as possible. The homestay is very near to everything and you can nicely walk to the gat and also to the centre. I really liked the welcoming family feeling in the homestay.

Varanasi can be a bit chilly and humid in wintertime but nothing to complain regarding Azure Home stay.

Lovely guest house with amazing food. Quiet and clean room. Sona and her family are very friendly, always happy to help with all you may need. They offer many activities for your stay in Varanasi like boat tours, city tours, transfer to the airport, cooking classes, yoga... Definitely recommend it.

Perfect location (you can easily walk to the ghat), owner is very nice and always ready to help. Also great cooker. Hot water anytime without necessity to ask, confortable beds.
