The homestay gave us 2 beautiful rooms and access to a fantastic veranda the location allows you to walk even

A bit noisy with the horns but it is India and the showers lacked some pressure

We really liked everything and several times extended our stay but what makes to place stand out are the nice people and the atmosphere.

The family was incredibly helpful and kind

Location is great for the veiw of mt. Kanchenjunga, Owner was polite and helpful and overy stay was nice and great

It was a wonderful homestay. I was very worried about having to climb four stairs to the top, as we had four suitcases, but the staff helped us out. The shower was warm and had plenty of water pressure. We woke up early in the morning, before sunrise, and were able to watch the sunrise over Kanchanjunga while drinking tea in our pajamas. There's no need to go to Tiger Hill, as the reviews say. There's no need to get up early, take a taxi, and wait for the sun to rise at Tiger Hill, freezing in the cold. You can just tuck into bed and wait for the sunrise. The view was truly spectacular.

There was no heater in the room, so it was very cold, but we had a hot pack with us so it were not a problem.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, great location close to both steam train and main square, fantastic view of mountains from roof terrace, pleasant breakfast and also other meals if and when required.

It was rather cold in the property, though you could pay small extra charge for heating and there were nice thick duvets for the beds. A hot water bottle would be a nice addition!

Location, the view was amazing of kachenjenga. Very good value for money. Food was lovely. Staff & owner were exceptionally helpful.

Shower was a low on pressure but the owner did explain to us about it.

The view from the terrace was fabulous ! V central location yet quiet - rooms were enormous and v comfy and liked having kettle and tea / coffee in our room - wide choice of menu for breakfast and dinner which was great value and v friendly and helpful host who let us leave bags whilst we trekked - would not hesitate to recommend

Great Location, good food, super nice staff. The host helped us fast with any problem there was.
