Hotel Tsubakino

Beautiful traditional environment. We really appreciate flexibility in providing food for our chronically ill daughter after serving hours by packing it up. Incredible service. Stunning rooms.

We were disappointed with the couch our main room. You couldn't sit on it without the cushions falling off the wooden back. In the pictures it looked like a comfortable western style couch at standard height. Other rooms seemed to have couches more like pictured, though. Unable to pay for late check out.

The beds were very comfortable, the delicious tea in the rooms was a lovely touch, and the kimonos were beautiful and available in all sizes. The toiletries were of excellent quality and smelled amazing. We had an unforgettable girls’ time (with my stepdaughter and my 3 daughters) in the baths on the 5th floor. We received such a warm welcome, and the traditional breakfast served privately for us was a delightful surprise. The traditional decoration and set up of the rooms. Coffee and tea were excellent Everything was truly exceptional… Even a list of restaurants was proposed with the link to guide us to it…we only regretted staying for just one night. P.S. The apple juice produced by their farm alone is worth the visite!

My little daughter of 7 would have love some Japanese bread or dessert at dessert as she had more difficulties with traditional only breakfast.

They accommodated a Western style breakfast for us and it was great!! The private dining room made us feel very special. Rooms were a good size for a Japanese style room. Facilities were good. Staff were super helpful and so kind!! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Nothing to not like!

Love the onsen/public bath; delicious meal,

The location, the room size n cleanliness, the staffs, the onsen spa , the quality of food etc .

There is nothing that I don’t like .

Everything , the Japanese meal experiences , the food quality , the staffs , the onsen spa .

If there is anything missing , is that there is no laundry service offered in the hotel or close by .

I wish the water in tub in our room was warmer but they can’t control that I believe.
