We booked this property as we were having building work done at home and needed to move out. Location is great, super close to the station and only a short walk into town. A private parking spot was a real Godsend as parking off-street limited to three hour stays. Property was in reasonably good condition and bathroom clean. Host easy to contact albeit in all honesty, we didn't have much need to get in touch - also, concierge was excellent and a pleasure to talk to in the mornings.

Kitchen items could have been a bit cleaner, no dishwasher and TV in the bedroom slightly temperamental. Also, hot water is programmed to only be on in the mornings so you need to manually override in the evenings which is fine but also means that if you forget, you have to wait approx. 30 mins for the water to be at a suitable temperature. Finally, the flat is situated right next to the entrance which meant that you could hear a lot of footfall outside coming into and out of the building - however, we were aware of that before our stay and I must say, it was not as noisy as I expected it was going to be.

The apartment I rented was very expensive, especially considering how dirty it was and the cleaning it required.

This is a great apartment. It is large, modern, really well equipped, with a really comfortable bed. I have stayed a number of times and there is nothing not to like. It is a great location for St Albans and the train to London. Paulyn is very helpful

Host was great and shared details required to settle in quickly (entry, parking etc.). Property is in an excellent area and just about a 10min walk to St. Albans City station - with rather quick links into London (which I also needed for work). The flat is modern and clean and ideal for an individual or small family/group. The city centre is within walking distance if you fancy the night life in St. Albans. For me, I was able to take long walks and runs around the Verulamium park. Highly recommended!
