Definitely the best Guest House during our 30 days in Kerala . The family welcome is perfect, personalized, while remaining discreet. The guesthouse is in an excellent condition just steps from the canals. The place is quiet. The guesthouse is really good for conversations with family and other travelers. ***Food is Just Yum!!!*** The breakfasts and dinners were something we kept wanting more of even if our tummy was full!! The room was big enough for 2 adults and is clean and spotless! Akhil, arranged us canoe tour, kayaking and also Ayurvedic Massages, whatever we asked for was arranged!! A must visit for sure!!!

Kala and her family are very nice and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet with them. The room in a separate house is perfect. And the food ! the best Pollichattu Fish I have been eating in Kerala :-)

Hospitable, helpful and friendly hosts, amazing meals, amicable dogs, free cycles, clean rooms with basic amenities. Helped with planning the activities in and around, picked us up and dropped us back from Railway station, arranged a guy for canoeing and guided him to plan as per our request. Don't think second if this is available, the entire family's hospitality will blow you away. Thank you Dundu and Spark for our best time in Kerala. Will be visiting back with more food and love.

Absolutely awesome place to visit, beautiful cozy cottage. Amazing home made food and great views. Would come back any time. So peaceful that you can hear nature singing all the time. There are few places to explore around especially S curve view point. It has spectacular view of the lake and valleys around.

Just immediately I left they cancelled my booking and updated it as no show. and I don’t have proof to say that I stayed there. I badly needed it for my records and they aren’t responding to representatives of booking.com. This is wrong practice. which I never experienced with any of my bookings till now

Akhil and his mom are fantastic hosts, we felt at home immediately. The breakfast and dinner was so great, we loved it. Everything worked smooth as they are super helpful to arrange canoe trips, scooti and more for us. We’ve stayed 2 nights and it was the best stay in Kerala.

Very lovely family, they took such a good care of us ! The mum is an incredible cook, best food on the Munroe Island !!! And her son was kind enough to help us organize our stay and departure and drove us to kayak and train station. The room has all the comfort needed, we highly recommend this homestay!

One of the best stays I have ever been too!! They arranged each and every need of mine, from delicious food, motorbike, canoeing, ayurvedic massages etc. I can guarantee that no-one goes empty stomach from here, the food is that delicious!! We had long conversations too which made me feel like I am with my family after long. I would be back soon!!!

It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in between the greenery. It was a awesome luxury stay with delicious homemade food, well maintained and spacious room. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home. Happy to have visited this place and will definitely visit again
