An amazing place and just minutes away from the the shore. We had all the care from Yelem and his family. A good place to have a peaceful rest and meet charming Sri Lankan family:)

"Amazing"

We had an amazing stay at Lotus House. The family are so kind and welcoming. The breakfasts every day after surfing are amazing. Great location, only a 2 minute walk from the beach and the local surf spots. A very calm and relaxing vibe - lots of fun on the ping pong table in the garden. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka, we would highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back next year!

"Convenient and friendly local accommodation!"

Location is great: beach is close, there are a couple of local restaurants nearby and a massage spa next door. Garden and rooftop terrace are very good for relaxing. Breakfast options are great.

Very sweet Accommodation! A nice garden with a ping pong table and a great rooftop terrace, partly with a roof to get some shade. Had lots of yoga sessions up there with a wonderful view over the jungle. Location is great, lots of Restaurants around and just a few minutes walking distance to 4 surfspots, suitable for everyone from beginner/intermediates to highly advanced surfers. Yelum and his Father are super friendly and will help you with whatever Question comes up. I will be back :)

Most rooms had AC and hot showers, mine didn’t - which I knew and got used to very quickly so not really a minus :-)

"Canceled at the last minute"

Unfortunately I never got to stay here. I booked a 3 night stay about a week in advance. The property messaged me at 10 am on the day I was supposed to arrive to say that some other guests wanted to stay longer so they had no room for me and they wanted me to cancel my booking. I had to scramble to find something else at the last minute and unfortunately there were not many options left in the area. Not sure what is the point of taking reservations if you do not honor them

Fantastic place, very chilled out, not on the main road like many other places, breakfast was delicious, and they even had a very cute puppy who liked to play a lot!
