Access at the gate, maybe they should implement code access or intercom instead of 1 having to call on cellphone and have someone running to the gate to come open.

Good standard south african breakfast! fresh and made with care. They let their guest enjoy and finish their meals in their own pace - no rush or worry. Staff was very kind and accomodating!

It would have been nice to have a microwave inside the room- just a suggestion but everything else was awesome!

How comfortable the bed was and that they accommodated my niece who i didn't include on the initial booking. The lady at reception went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable.

That there aren't any restaurants or fast food places nearby. And the road leading there had potholes and gravel road

The Manager at the guesthouse - Shongi is great. She is helpful, friendly and very competent - a huge asset to the Guesthouse. She is struggling without a phone to connect to the guests booked at the guesthouse. And you have to speak to the owner, which does not live at the guesthouse. The rooms were kept, and clean. The beds comfortable. The breakfast delicious. All due to Shongi.

The Owner was not responsive to my questions before we arrived.The contact number supplied on the website belongs to the owners son,who was not capable of answering my questions, and I was directed to the owner (his mom), Mapule, who did eventually respond to 1 of my questions, vague - not direct. We asked for directions to the guesthouse, which they did not provide, and we resulted to using GPS. We ended up getting lost on a 15km secluded dirt road, which was gated and locked at the end, and we had to turn around and drive all the way back on a 4x4 road used for a game farm. After phoning Mapule (the owner) from there, she send us directions. Which was also not 100% correct, because we ended up in front of another locked gate, and had to turn around again, and phone her again to direct us, leading to another dirt road, which was damaged by rainwater. The owner advertises her Guesthouse and SPA - which is actually more of a Massage Room than a SPA. It does not offer all the services a spa would be expected to offer, and we ended up not getting what we asked for before we left our home. The owner tried to salvage the situation by sending a nail technician to the guesthouse to only do our toe nails, instead of a pedicure - the nail tech was also not aware that we actually requested pedicures - which she was not trained for. We ended up paying the guesthouse - invoiced - for the nail tech's service and petrol from a remote area. We received keys to our rooms, but no remote to enter the gate after hours, we had to phone to have them open the gate for us each time. After requesting a remote - the owner said she will make sure we receive a remote, which didn't happen either. The premises gardens needs alot of tending, and the gardens are neglected and the pool dirty. Considering that we chose the gueshouse because it had a "SPA" - it was a big disappointment to not find a proper spa at the venue.
