Platis Residence Villa

Location was perfect! It has the best view in Oía. Paz was very helpful, she was in constant communication with us, making sure we had a great time. The room has everything needed to have a good time. Pictures don’t make justice to the place. It is very nice and we are planning to go back. We loved it!!

The A/C was barely working and it remained in the 80’s in the upstairs room the whole time. Downstairs it was a little cooler.

Splendid views

If you had a large family or group of friends then this is probably what you need. It's a self contained 'house'. There's no reception and contact with the host is via WhatsApp. We didn't realise that one bedroom would be sort of separate from the others, which could suit some groups. The villa was spotlessly clean. The spa on the balcony over looking the caldera was very special. If you choose the breakfast option it's delivered from a local cafe and was very delicious. There is a full kitchen, which we didn't use during our short stay but would be handy for a longer stay. The location was brilliant and the view amazing. Though you have to walk with your luggage from the 'drop off point' to the entrance, along the small cobbled streets, so pack wisely :)

They advised on the info sheet not to drink the water - but didn't supply any bottled water. We arrived in the evening and tired from 28 hours of travel and thought they should have at least supplied 1 or 2 bottles of water on arrival. The taxi drops you off at a meeting point on the roadside and we had to wait ( about 15-20minutes) for a representative to meet us there and walk us back to the villa, it was hot and after a lengthy travel, we thought this could've been more organised.

Location and views are top notch. The photos don’t do the real thing justice. The unit is located right in the heart of Oia and along one of the main cobblestone paths. Shops, restaurants and bars are steps away yet it is still very safe and quiet.

The main floor bedroom and upper floor bedroom and completely separate and accessible by the exterior or a very slow elevator. For us this worked great with teens but may not be ideal for a younger family.

Perfect location in heart of Oia. 2 great balconies. Hard to leave the villa to explore Oia when you have that view. Paz was extremely helpful before, during and post our stay, amazing reservations team.

The overall chicness of the apartment. The location and the view were sublime!

Downstairs spa/hammam was not working at the time.

We were met at our drop-off location and walked to the apartment. The apartment is stunning/spectacular. Views of Oia are incredible. Our plunge pool was amazing. The apartment was spotless and huge. Can't say enough good things about this location. Excellent!!
