The location is just perfect

Very nice and relaxed apartment. The area felt safe within minutes walking distance. Great parking facility, no need to use the car whilst in York because of the excellent location. Very handy access to supermarket.

Hard to fault.

We only stayed the one night so only used the kettle. Everything that you would need for self-catering appeared to be there. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Ideal location for visiting York Minster and walking along the river. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants within easy within a short walking distance.

The instructions for collecting the key and entering the property grounds were not clear. Had to call the owner for help. He was very helpful and we got in. Didn't really like the mezzanine bedroom being open but that's my personal taste.

Perfect location, good value for money, comfortable and well decorated, spacious.

Could’ve included a bit more toilet paper, as well as a kitchen sponge and dishcloth. I think the boiler is set up so that you need to use the “booster” every time before you shower (as opposed to it being switched on or on a timer) - we were told to use the booster upon arrival and that we would get hot water in about an hour which is true but I didn’t realise I would need to do that again the next morning

Location and parking facility

Heating and hot water were unpredictable, couldn’t figure out how it works. Replace kettle in the kitchen, it is very rusty inside I was boiling water on hob to avoid using kettle. There’s no privacy in bedrooms as they are overloaded, poor design.

The location was second to none. The apartment was a good size. Parking great for the centre of York.

The bathroom needs an overhaul and the apartment needs a good spring clean - as a cleaner myself I think the allocated time is not enough for the changeover

Location, security and parking. Comfy beds.

It was cold, the storage heaters should have been turned on the day before to give them chance to charge up, there was no tea towel, bath mat, no welcome pack (ie milk sachets, tea bags). Items in the kitchen could have been cleaner (the toaster was dirty). The shower was not very powerful and although adequate for us had we taken our partners 5’10 and 6’4 they would not have fit underneath.
