Crystall Goa, Onyx Edition

Location was ace. The room was clean and ok facilities (slightly broken kettle, fridge, ensuite and double bed. Relatively quiet and easy to walk to the beach.

The room lay out meant that a restful night was NOT possible. The way the bed is positioned against the window instead of the wall furthest from the entrance means one feels uncomfortable. The kettle was broken but still functional.

The locality of Crystall Goa Onyx was ideal. Close to the local shops and easy access to the beach. Staff were friendly and food was reasonable in the attached restaurant. We managed to park our moped round the back of the place too even though a previous reviewer claimed there was no parking.

We booked a garden view and it was over the car park! On arrival our bedroom appeared cool as fan and A/C were on! The temperature was set at 17 degrees. However we realised later that the unit was obviously not working efficiently as the temperature barely got lower than 25 degrees! The room was unbearably HOT and I hardly slept! The bathroom was very compact. Shower was good, but positioned in the middle of the tiny room, so consequently after showering , the toilet was soaked and the room was literally like a paddling pool until the water drained away! Plus the floor was extremely slippery! To make matters worse, the window was broken so in an evening it was impossible to keep the insects out!!!

Rohit's courteous service was definitely commendable. We really had a fabulous 4 day vacation. I have been here for the 6th time and they have maintained the service level.

The room is huge and comfortable for 3 but there isn't enough storage space. There should be some hanging hooks put up somewhere. The shower mixer isn't working as designed, it's either HOT or COLD. But this is more like feedback than a complaint.

Basic, clean room, all you need there. Fridge, good AC and fan, good shower, hot water. Comfortable bed and pillows. Drinking water was provided every day. Nice staffs, friendly woman Mansi in reception. Short way to the beach.

A floor dryer in the bathroom would be a nice addition. :)

Really good location, few minute walk to the beach. Room was really spacious and luxurious with huge windows and balcony. Staff is amazing! They made sure we felt like home, want to thank Mansi and Rajeshree. We told them we don't need cleaning and they still brought us extra water bottles, clean towels and toilet paper, we felt really good while staying there! Also there's a great restaurant downstairs which makes it extra comfortable. Great wifi, AC, really big bed! We loved our stay.
