location - very close to everything, nice views

The apartment has potential, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The kitchen faucet was difficult to operate, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower area, and the toilet seat was loose. Addressing these issues would help make the stay more comfortable for future guests.

La chambre enfant n'a pas de volets ni de rideaux, les places de parking autour sont toutes payantes.

The Porto azzuro apartment is in a wonderful location. The views are stunning. The connections are great - you are right by the train station and the ferry point. I visited lots of attractions easily from here. If you want to explore by ferry, I'd suggest going to the booking office down from the apartment very early. It gets busy fast. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. If you want to stock up on things from a supermarket, I opted for bellano, which was so easy to get to by train. But the little corner shop by the apartment and other shops in varenna have good supplies. Lovely little park within walking distance for children (I travelled with my three children) That's all the great things. But unfortunately my stay was ruined by noise within the apartment.

I was so exhausted and upset by the end of my week stay, having had night after night of excessive noise starting late into the night and continuing into the early mornings, from an apartment above. Of course this wasn't caused by the apartment hosts! And I was advised by my host that it isn't the norm and that maybe because I stayed over the Easter/holiday period, that was the reason for the loud party atmosphere. But I had little to no sleep and it affected my view of this stay as a whole. My kids couldn't settle. It wasn't just laughter. It was banging about, loud chatting, people up and down the stairwells, sounds like furniture being moved at 11pm, 12pm, 1am, 2am.. Beautiful location. But noisy during my time there. Not going to lie, I couldn't wait to leave for a better nights sleep. It's a shame because it wasn't my hosts fault. And the apartment was so pretty and convenient for exploring this beautiful area.

Appartement bien placé proche de la gare et du front de mer, très accessible

Présence de fourmis dans la salle de bain, il manque les volets dans l’une des chambres et pas de rideau en remplacement, il n’y a qu’une cafetière pour deux personnes

La struttura è posizionata praticamente a 5 minuti dal lago e dalla fermata del traghetto. Il paese sembra uno di quei paesini dipinti su tela,molto tranquillo e isolato dalla confusione. L'appartamento abbastanza grande e con tutti i principali servizi che un appartamento possa offrire.

Purtroppo la struttura non è dotata di parcheggio e i parcheggi presenti sono praticamente tutti a pagamento,io ho speso circa 20 euro al giorno per mantenere la vettura in un posto sicuro e in regola, quindi vi sconsiglio di raggiungere il paese in macchina. In una camera( dove dormiva mia figlia) mancava la tapparella esterna,mi sono dovuto arrangiare e incastrare una coperta sul vetro così che la luce del giorno non la svegliasse. L'appartamento è molto bello,andrebbe solo un po sistemato.
