Restaurant, food, location. Staff is kind, friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is still under construction and the rooms that are ready are very close to the street without sound insulation.

The hotel is situated in a stunning building with the most amazing historic architecture. Our room was beautiful and we particularly liked the bathroom which had a very sleek modern and clean finish that blended brilliantly with the heritage of the room. We enjoyed breakfast and as it is still only a small hotel, service was quick with lots of attention paid. We also enjoyed a very nice meal at the outdoor area of the restaurant in the evening - the food and drinks here were very good.

The proximity of the hotel to the road meant there was a lot of traffic noise. We asked to move rooms because of this and second room was better, though the traffic was still quite loud. There is also some ongoing construction in the grounds for additional rooms, which could get quite noisy at times. Luckily as we were out for most of the day, this didn’t affect us too much.

Warm, friendly welcoming hotel. Great location for exploring Amritsar. Staff and food were excellent.

It would have been nice if the pool opened earlier.

The breakfast each day was amazing; buffet and freshly cooked food, big choice of menu, beautifully cooked. Congratulations to the chef! Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms were spotless and the bedding was very comfortable. The building is architecturally stunning; comforting for the soul to stay in such an oasis, amidst the mayhem of outside. We loved the sympathetic combination of modern facilities within the ancient structure. Very cleverly designed!

Very little to complain about! (Perhaps reception staff could smile and practice speaking English as they are the welcoming face of the hotel).
