Apartamentos Cerro Blanco

This little apartment is very comfortable for a short visit. It was clean and quite well equipped in terms of bedding. The kitchen was OK a little scarce but I was still able to do some cooking. The lady who owns it was friendly and helpful and the WiFi is very good.

It is a little far from the city center and the area is a bit quiet, maybe not suitable to walk alone at night. But as a couple we did not feel unsafe.

Extremely rude owner and cleaning lady. First we received a message that our credit card is invalid (everything was fine with it, we checked in supermarket) and the owner contacted us via WhatsApp saying that we should pay via some link. We asked if it's possible to pay when we arrive (security reasons ofc). So that's what we've done. We paid there by card (first she stated that the card does not work and we should pay with cash, we insisted and finally the card worked...). When asked about the washing machine, she replied that it comes with additional costs. We then send her a screenshot with the info that apartment should feature a washing machine. She replied that it's written that the service of loundry comes with additional costs and suggested us that we should read better. We desperately needed to do loundry though, so we were ready to pay for it. But it seemed to be impossible, as the owner informed us that the loundry can only be done at 11 am but the check out is untill 11 am. Furthermore there was no hot water in the evening. The owner informed us about it after we paid and said that it's not her problem. As we were paying for a night in an apartment without hot water, we asked if maybe we could do loundry for free (or at all). She again said that it's not her problem - it's a breakdown on the street and she can't tell the workers to work faster (we later saw that they have a hudge hot water tank). We showered in the morning - water was warm for like first 2 minutes. 5 minutes after this conversation our reservation on booking was cancelled by the facility. Another thing - the door. It was impossible to close it from the inside. Kitchen was equipped with exactly 2 forks, 2 small knives and 3 plates.

The studio apartment is in two small rooms . The first level is a small kitchen and the bathroom. The second level is the bedroom. The bed sheets were clean and looked new. The kitchen was functional for small cooking. The TV was a smart TV. The wi-fi connection was good.

I did not like the stairs. Especially in the middle of night if you need the washroom. I had to take the stairs several times a day. I needed a phone number to give the airline to bring my luggage. The owner said they have no phone number.

For me it was perfect! I had privacy, my own cooking space and my own bathroom which was a delight. The location was also perfect for me because I am a runner and I was able to easily go run in the San Cristóbal park area in the morning and then walk 5min to the metro station and be in the center of town very quickly. If i did not want to take the metro I would just walk to the center and it only took 20-30min. I would love to stay here again!

It was perfect for me but I wouldn't recommend it if you are used to staying at the Hilton 😅

I did not meet the host. I only met a lady who worked there. She was helpful and the apartment was clean and good enough for me. Despite the apartment is not located in a nice surrounding, it is easy to get around with the metro. The best part was its close location to the Santa Lucia hill.

No mention about whether we pay tax or not. I was just charged cash on site and no payment confirmation document. The windows did not lock. I did not know whether I could leave valuables, so had to carry them around with me.
