Constantin was a very welcoming and diligent guest. It was a pleasure talking to him over a coffee, he's genuinely interested in welcoming and getting to know new guest.

I was very impressed by Constantin and his apartment. It is obvious he has been welcoming guests for a long time and knows his job well. Actually, I felt like being at home or staying at a friend's house. Constantin allowed me to use the kitchen and fridge at any time. He makes tea for free and pays genuine interest in the conversation. We talked about so many things, like for example the similarities and differences between Romanians and Bulgarians, the economy, politics, history, the war in Ukraine, different cultures, healthy food, sports, etc. He helped me with all the information I needed about Bucharest because it was my first time in Romania. He even wrote me a list of the most useful Romanian phrases. The location is nice and calm, very close to a park with two lakes and a mall with shops and good food. The Dristor-1 Metro station is within walking distance and is only 3 stations away from the centre of Bucharest, via lines M1 or M3.

The owner is very kind and very open minded. He is considerate and generous to his guests. Every morning, he gives guests free hot coffee and tea. Staying here feels like coming home.

I stayed at the place for 2 night. Constantin is a really nice host and always open for a chat. The appartment has one room which is rented for guests, with a nice big bed, so that you can sleep well. Nearby is a nice park where you can go for a morning run or a walk around the lake. The next metro station is 10 minutes away, from there you can reach the city centre to discover all the sights of Bucharest. I definitely recommend staying there!

The distance to the airport is quite far, there is a train (leaves every 40 minutes) which takes around 20 minutes to Gara de Nord and then another 20 minutes with the metro to the closest station. But at least public transport is cheap!
