"Everything was perfect"

Wonderful place to stay close to nature! The cottage is located in a forest among chestnut trees — incredibly quiet and peaceful. In the evenings you get a beautiful view of the valley, and if you’re lucky, you might spot wild boars and foxes nearby — a true feeling of being surrounded by nature. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. A perfect spot to disconnect and relax. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Solar Da Castanha was perfect in every way. Ilda and Alberto were marvellous and generous hosts, providing a delicious breakfast every morning.The facilities were very comfortable and beautifully designed. A very short drive to the town of Manteiges and walking trails. We would definitely recommend and stay again

"Un séjour remarquable ac des hôtes attachants, où l’on aimera certainement revenir !"

Les prestations de l’hébergement sont vraiment au top, au cœur de la Sierra da Estrela et des châtaigniers de Manteigas. Au calme et à proximité des commodités de la ville (nombreux restaurants variés , supermarché, station service…). Roberto et Yolanda se plient en quatre pour votre plaisir (au petit dej !) Avec leur fils Pedro, ils veillent à ce que vous passiez un bon séjour.
