Great location and lovely mountain and lake view from our balcony. Hotel was very clean and a perfect location, with balcony view from room 33.

The staff are terrible. They have no personality and definitely should not be in the hospitality business. Appeared to be a family that inherited the business, but would rather be doing anything other than running a hotel. We are early tourist season. I can not imagine how bad they will get as the tourist season progresses.

The hotel is centrally located in a quiet location. The room was very spacious, with a small balcony with a large bathroom and lots of space for toiletries. There is a vending machine available for snacks, drinks, and wine. Breakfast: Nice breakfast with fruit, cereal, cold cuts, cheeses, breads. One morning they had hard boiled eggs available, the next morning they served fried eggs with bacon. Dinner: We had lake fish for dinner which was quite good. It is much cheaper than the restaurants facing the lake and the quality is very good (just as good as the more expensive restaurants). Parking tip: The parking lots fill up quickly at Hallstatt. Paid parking is available at the P1 parking lot for hotel guests staying at Hallstatt with a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. If the parking is full, tell the attendant that you are staying at the hotel. He will put you aside and as soon as a spot is free you can enter. Pay for the days you will be staying (choose the hotel option at the pay station) and then you can enter/leave as many times as you wish during your stay.

No place to store luggages should you arrive early.

Restaurant of the Hotel did not accept card The "view of the mountains" the room had was very superficial. Should not have this description on booking.

The view is amazing..

The stuff was not very nice honestly! Strict check in timing at 3 PM even if you arrive only an hour earlier.. breakfast was very limited and even the options were not fresh! I simply asked for an omelette and they said NO only boiled. Its quite an expensive hotel which is only worth it for the views..

Staff not good. We were late 4 min on breakfast and they sed no breakfast also we ofer to pay if they have somthing theu sed no closed when we were they guests.
