Stanze soffocanti a causa del caldo, no aria condizionata, niente frigo, bagno minuscolo e vecchio, lavandino così piccolo da non entrarci con entrambe le mani.

A fridge would have been useful.

Our room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is not included but was reasonable for the price. The location was superb being right by the River Thames. We were fortunate in that the weather was good, so nice riverside walks or just relaxing watching the river antics. Plenty of seating both inside and out, food was good but sometimes had to wait due to limited number of staff.

The main challenge is parking. The pub is obviously very popular, plus there is also a canoe hire place along side it. The car park is not adequate, particularly at the weekend, and there is no reserved spaces for folks who are actually staying there. Therefore, a bit pot luck if you can get a parking space!!

Bar staff need more organisation, long queues of customers at the bar with 4 staff members standing around but only one serving customers making the service very slow

The staff were very welcoming and very helpful and helped us to settle in quickly. They pointed out some nice places to have breakfast during the week. The food, in the evenings, was really good and nicely presented. We enjoyed sitting outside, right by the River Thames, watching the canoeists, boats, swans and ducks enjoying the water, too. Great walks to be had along the river, too.

We weren't so keen on the traffic on the Halfpenny Bridge but at the time there were roadworks going on which the Riverside had no control over. Once that's completed it should less hectic as we found when the traffic lights were switched off at 5pm and there was no congestion.
