The Black Swan Inn

The location was great. Right in town and very close to bus station and supermarket.

The Hotel. It was full of hazards from entry to your room door. Would absolutely fail a workplace health and safety check. The shower had no pressure whatsoever. There was no bedside table and the radiator did not work.

Unfortunately there was nothing that we liked about this property - although Leominster is a lovely town

Everything about our stay was terrible from the room being double booked, the lack of information provided by the staff, the lack of staff (only saw the staff when we checked in), the lack of sockets in the family room we were given (1 double sockets in each room). There was no breakfast despite being advertised but the final straw was the live music which was playing directly underneath our room was so loud it vibrated the floorboards. We left a day early because we couldn’t stand another night of the musix

Breakfast wasn't served even though it was advertised and paid for. Bar was really rough, live band really loud. Attitude of barmaid, my mate decided to stay somewhere else due to first impressions, told I couldn't get money back. I decided to take his room as mine had a flushing noise running through it every minute. When I asked for his key it was just thrown on the bar. Half expecting Basil Faulty to come round the corner. Room was clean but very basic.

The hotel has a great location being in the centre of Leominster a historic market town. The young man on duty when I arrived had a very pleasant demeanor even when imparting bad news.

I had booked an ensuite room which I was told on arrival had been double booked and all that they had was a room with a shared bathroom, which was filthy. The ensuite room became available later and i transferred.
