Very old fashioned, bed uncomfortable

On arrival after 4 hour drive from home told hotel kitchen was closed due to Covid. I had no prior notice although the receptionist did say they had e mailed booking.com Friday of this. My wife is currently being treated with immunology recovering from cancer. We simply could not take any chances. An e mail did arrive Sunday evening but far to late.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Any questions we had to ask was explained very well and polite Thank-you for a lovely stay from all of our family

The noise the kettle was half full of water dont know how long it had been in there had milk tea and coffee but no spoons the shower had 2 temperatures boiling hot or freezing cold and it states breakfast available but there was no staff around in the morning

Very disappointing stay – not worth £80 I booked this hotel hoping to rest after work, but it was a terrible experience. The property was extremely noisy all night – loud music played from reception, and people outside were shouting, which made me feel unsafe and unable to sleep. The room was in poor condition, clearly part of an old building that needs renovation. The kitchen wasn’t working, and there was no intercom or way to reach reception from the room. For £80, I expected a much better experience. Definitely would not recommend, especially if you’re looking for peace and rest.
