The location was exactly what we thought- a lovely quiet village . Staff were friendly and the pub downstairs is really lovely . Buzzing with locals and although there isn’t food on Mondays (wish we had known when booking ) however the staff let us order in Chinese and have it in the pub which was great ! The room was lovely - comfy beds and lots of space !

I don’t like to say anything negative as it is a lovely place , however in the morning it was hard to find mugs downstairs that weren’t dirty / full of dust etc upstairs one of the mugs had lipstick on and there was marmalade on the bedside table . Also the shower in our room was really low pressure - a little hard to wash under and the bottom of the shower pole isn’t fixed .

Very quiet location and great nights sleep, friendly local pub. Family room was very spacious and comfortable. Help yourself buffet continental breakfast (cereal, toast etc) but option there for cooked if required - we didn’t see anyone on the morning and helped ourselves.

Good atmosphere. Lots of character. Very generous breakfast.

Evening meal was OK. Have had better pub food but you get what you pay for, and it was good value.

The atmosphere in the pub was lovely with many locals, and a very friendly atmosphere. Room was spacious and a very comfortable bed

The bad news no kitchen Tuesday nights. The good news visiting pizza pitch outside which was superb.
