"Great Character But No Food"

Good sized room. Plenty of character.

Second time we've stayed where the advertised food wasn't being served. Had to drive out to get something to eat in our room. I understand the bar serves the locals and they are the lifeblood of the business. Although not an unfriendly place, the language is 'colourful'.

Breakfast was brilliant, one of the best I've had. Debbie who made breakfast couldnt have been kinder and more helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Top marks for it. Boddington is a quiet place, but the Plough Inn was busy with lots of local drinkers on the Friday night. The bar had loads of atmosphere and was a friendly place to spend the evening. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was very enjoyable.
