The Plough Inn Boddington

Lovely large clean room the bathroom was super clean and spacious. Good breakfast for £10. Staff were all really friendly and efficient. A local pub with some rooms which is great value for money. We had dinner which was well priced and tasty.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie schone, ruime familiekamer met eigen badkamer. Klein maar prima. Lekker eten, prima continentaal ontbijt.

A great room and bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Also offered a substantial 'help yourself' breakfast for the morning. A good spot for us on the Millennium Way walking trail but it would have been good to have dinner available.

Our first impressions were not great. Were barely acknowledged at the bar and waited some time to check in as the lady behind the bar appeared more intent on people pleasing and flirting with the local clientele. There was also an issue with us asking to pay when the room had been paid for in advance. After enquiring in advance about an evening meal , we were disappointed to arrive at 7 from a long day of walking to find out that kitchen was not open on a Monday! There were some local options for 'junk food' take away/delivery , sadly unwanted by us, so we ended up eating snacks and fruit

We had a lovely overnight stay in the Pheasant room, our room was brilliant just what we needed. Nice and clean, comfortable beds, ideal for a family of 4, plenty space. Huge thanks to Debbie for our breakfast on Thursday morning, we really enjoyed it and had a lovely chat with her she was ever so helpful.

The room was clean and quiet, well equipped.

TV didn't work, only 5 channels were available. Kitchen smelly and not very clean. Good accommodation, but not appropriate for breakfast.

A number of individuals banging about and laughing and joking past middnight... who had no regard for other guest...
