Very busy when we arrived and having to wait at the bar to check in was not ideal with my children with some very colourful language from some guests at the bar! Room quiet noisy until pub closes but to be expected

friendly staff, very old and historical pub. Cosy with a simple but adequate continental breakfast included in the price. Water, tea and coffee in the room was a nice extra.

The main lockable door to our room could have been more substancial and better fitting. the light from the corridor could be seen around the edges and it didn't block out much sound.

staff are friendly and helpful, the room was nice and the beds are very comfortable and breakfast cooked by Debbie all local sourced was lovely.

couldnt find the hair dryer, but didnt ask so our fault.

Quiet and comfy. We used it as a base so didn't experience much other than sleeping and washing but it served as a good spot.

No negatives.

The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was great.

There was a loud and constant humming noise during the night.
