The Plough Inn Boddington

Lovely place, the room was nice and the staff really welcoming. We had a great meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning.

The only downside was the shower in our room wasn't working properly. It was a very slow trickle of water and the shower head didn't seem to work.

Beautiful pub in a stunning rural location. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The room was lovely, the bed was super comfy and the drinks tray well stocked.

Sadly there was no food available on the evening we stayed which was disappointing. The local Chinese took ages to deliver and were really rude so the lack of food on site was compounded. The boiler had also packed up so no heating but a heater was placed in our room before arrival so it was toastie warm.

Loved loved loved this place. It’s such a rustic little place loaded with character - absolutely gorgeous. Spotlessly clean room, gorgeous breakfast in the morning- Debbie had thought of everything and got yoghurts for the children as a little extra at breakfast- the place is literally a dream and we will be back!

The lady behind the bar was amazing. Room was beautiful, beds was really comfortable. Slept well. The free Continental breakfast was ace set us up for the busy day we had. Once again thank you, see you again soon. Advice for food in the local area we was given was a Chinese and that was amazing.

Bathroom needed a little work. But still really clean and Welcoming. Missed the food that night as cooker went down. What we could see and smell it looked good. Overall loved it.

I liked the look of the room and how it had hot chocolate.

It all started with a great welcome from Megan. The pub building is steeped in history and has been very tastefully updated to provide a friendly, traditional, locals bar with comfortable rooms upstairs. We booked the full cooked breakfast which was very generous and served up with care and gusto by the friendly Debbie.

Some people might find the very audible noise from the lively pub below disturbing - but it's quiet as soon as the pub closes and it didn't bother us.
