I highly recommend this place to stay with family and the overall experience will exceed your expectations. Balaji and his wife are very empathetic and super committed to providing excellent customer service. He has been in touch with us throughout the trip and helped us guide us to the homestay and also places that we want to see nearby. As we travelled with two small kids and reached the stay a bit late, Balaji was in touch with us and arranged food (which is truly delicious). The entire duration of the stay we felt at home. The Homestay is really clean and very spacious with a kitchen, hall and decent size bedroom to accommodate all four of us. I recommend this homestay for any family that's looking for a comfortable place to stay around Kumbakonam, which also makes you feel like your second home.

Kumbakonam Inn is a wonderful place to stay in for short temple visit. It has very tidy rooms kept well, with reasonable rates. It is very comfortable to access and is the heart of the temple town and has good parking facility. The Owner is very courteous and well mannered and they will make your stay memorable. Only shortcoming is that there is no restaurant attached but since numerous hotels are available nearby, the same is not an issue. Do check out this place if you are on a pilgrimage with family and in your own transport. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent hospitality by the hosts and they paid a very close attention to ensure we had a pleasant stay. This homestay is very close to everything. Also the location gave a village vibe which my kids never experienced and thoroughly enjoyed.

Hotel GM Balaji is super committed to provide excellent customer service. He provided us timely updates and proactively helped us to improve our travel itinerary as well. Also I noticed that other hotels are providing only sofa cum bed for the 3rd occupant which is not comfortable, where as this hotel have proper bed for all the guests.
