Mindoxtrem Birds

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Was a short 5 min walk into town.

Right next to a building site and a main road so lots of noise overnight and in the early morning. Curtains were very thin so didn't keep out any light and also didn't fully cover the windows so didn't feel fully private. So didn't get loads of sleep. Owner wasn't there when we arrived so had to be let in by someone who worked at the tubing company next to the hotel.

Friendly employees they helped me planning the tours and gave me some good restaurant recommendations

When I was there the whole street was open en they were busy building something infront of the hostel

We stayed three nights at Mindoxtrem Birds along New Years Eve. For two nights the room next to us was empty so it was very quiet. The accomodation was very clean and the terrace had a beautiful view, we could see a lot of birds. To walk to the centre it was just 10 minutes. For two people the room was big enough, for three people it would have been a bit small. The shower was great, hot water was available.

We had some problems with the toilet as it got clogged although we did not put toilet paper in it. From the host we got a helpful plunger to fix it. One night there was a family next door in the neighbour room who was a bit noisy until late at night and with a man who snored impressively. Because the walls are very thin it was not so easy to fall asleep.

In theory a nice location, however there was a construction site right next to the hotel, so it was extreeeemely loud all the time.

Big room and nice balcony. The hostal offers tours and laundry service. Very clean and nice atmosphere.

There was no kitchen and no breakfast. The breakfast places in town doesn't open untill sometime after 8 maybe 9. But the rooster next door wakes you up quite early.
