Pebble Beach

The location was perfect.

The property is tired. The room we had was small and dated. The view was disappointing. The entrance from the car park is really not what you would expect from a price point of such a venue. The ongoing decoration was also a surprise. The room was not made up for our two nights stay. The reason was the we didn’t put the ‘ make up the room’ hanger on the door. Restaurant staff were very busy and some were inexperienced. One lady senior staff was somewhat annoyed by us being in the restaurant when checking in. So we were made to wait by the gentleman’s toilet door. Overall a very disappointing experience. Having lived in Barton on Sea in the past, and having used the restaurant many times. This return was a really unpleasant experience.

Penthouse apartment was great accommodation. Very clean and comfortable. Nice bar and restaurant. Amazing sea views.

The pictures on websites are misleading as it shows a full kitchen. On arrival we discovered that the hob and oven have no electrical supply. Disappointing as we had taken food to cook.

The apartment needed attention. Stains on carpet , lots of scratches and scuff marks Breakfast extra so made it expensive

Great location with good facilities and plenty of space.

Couldn't get the shower to work but this wasn't really a problem.

Comfy bed

We've eaten in the restaurant over the past few year's but were very disappointed with the room . We stayed in the Hurst room, very small, very dark due to outside cladding over the windows. Carpet grubby, furniture grubby, no shower, cracked wash basin. Holes in wall. No separate parking for hotel guests. Restaurant needs a refurb too. Wouldn't recommend.

Advertised as a luxury hotel but it is a room above a restaurant that was subsequently closed the following day. We had to leave by around 9am and called reception as told to request breakfast but told my a very rude man that breakfast wasn’t available until at least 9am so we left with no food. Kept awake until the early hours of the morning as the room over looked the restaurant extraction unit, not the sea view described, which was very loud. To initially enter we walked through the bar, through a narrow door to Thr men’s toilets then through another narrow door to steep stairs which stank of stale dog.
