Breakfast excellent

Bedroom: 1) Ventilation unit made "ticking" sound all right even when it was switched off. Could not Sleep!! 2) Bath tub had low sloping ceiling so could not stand-up for shower. Bath Tub did not have hand-rails so could not lift ourselves out of Bath. 3) Windows were blanked-off so could not see out of Window.

Location was amazing and room had everything needed

Lovely location; room well-equipped and furnished. Warm and cosy and with a sea view.

The communication prior to arrival wasn't great. I had said at the time of booking that I would be arriving late, but never received explicit check-in instructions and had to call the out of hours number to get instructions for gaining access. Not a big deal in the end, but something clearer earlier on would have given more peace of mind that I would be able to let myself in when I arrived.

The location was lovely and the food was very good...

The room was very hot, the air conditioning was not working so a portable unit was put in the room but the extract tube didn't even reach the window so it was a waste of time. The room was also very tired, the carpet was very dirty, the bathroom tiling had been patch repaired, and the door did not shut properly unless it was locked. Plus, the kitchen extract fans were just outside the bedroom window! To be honest, we would struggle to rate the room as 3 star. Would not stay again.

The restaurant looked very pleasant and welcoming. The location was very nice.

Although billed as 5 star destination, the rooms were far from that, our room was small, the windows were frosted so had no view. The bathroom had no hooks so no where to hang any clothing. The clear glass shower divider was somewhat dangerous because when swung open it was easy to walk into it. Some form of safety transfer is required. There was a hole in the ceiling surrounding one of the lights. Breakfast was not pleasant because the bacon was mostly fat, and the sausage was very stale and tough. We left most of the breakfast. Although resident we were denied a drink at the bar on New Years Eve because they were only serving the restaurant. We had booked a late check out but didnt use it as we left early. The reception was unmanned so couldnt give feedback on leaving.

Love the look and feel of the room, the radiant and location. Parking onsite is you don't arrive in busy times

The room was noisy, too hot, bed and pillows uncomfortable. We personally don't like a pod coffee machine. A good old fashioned coffee sachet and kettle is preferable
