Lovely peaceful location great base for exploring by car. Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff and locals alike. Great value for money (room and bar) and amazing breakfast if we are back that way would stay again.

I've stayed before and the staff (Manager? Owner?) works hard to make the guest looked after. Honestly, for value for money this one's hard to beat.

I got a room in the main building this time ( mea culpa - I should have specified) and I found that noise traveled even though my fellow guests were perfectly considerate.

Helpful hosts

Not aware there were 5 dogs who greeted us and came trottingaround the breakfast table. My husband is not a dog lover... Bit dusty
