Gladstone Hotel

Was so dirty and run down, for $200 the beds were not even made. A threadbare doona was folded waiting to be used. Bathroom floor looked like it would collapse any moment. Very run down. Freezing cold inadequate heating. We walked in used the bathroom then decided to leave and stay elsewhere for the same price we paid here we got kitchen facilities and 2 separate bedrooms just down the road. Extremely disappointing as we have stayed at lovely historic venues before and had expected this to be the same. Photos advertised are very false or from years ago

This is an excellent place for the price. It is very 1970s.... but that is what you get at price. The staff were lovely.. we ate in the bar and it was good pub food. Located on the main street of the town.

Location was central, and easy to find

Not what was represented in the picture. No garage bins in the rooms, kitchen area needs improvement, not suitable for family with kids.

No heating in rooms. No bedding - lucky I was travelling with a sleeping bag
