Very welcoming hosts. Room warm and cosy - perfect for winter days. Very close to Whipsnade Zoo and other attractions.

"Cosy warm but small double. Nice full English breakfast. Poor nights sleep as could hear people snoring in next room. N"

Breakfast was really nice.

No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Had to order at bar or use kettle downstairs. Room was quite small and walls thin I could hear person next door snoring all night long. So bad nights sleep. Woke up to find 5 ladybirds in the bathroom in Nov! For £120 a night I was really disappointed.

Very comfortable stay; all the staff are very friendly and the landlord & landlady couldn’t be more welcoming. Food was excellent- massive portions too! Bedroom very comfortable, would not hesitate to recommend this place for a short stay.

Louise and John were excellent hosts. All other staff were friendly and helpful. The welcome we received was the warmest ever and it was obvious that customer care was at the forefront of everything they do at Old Hunters Lodge. Our room was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was varied and evening meals were amazing. Definitely deserves a return visit.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
