"Brilliant, thoroughly enjoyable"

We had a two night stay , and came away wishing we’d booked longer! Wonderfully cheery welcome, fabulous room and the food … well , beautiful and HUGE portion’s. Obviously ideally situated for the zoo, but a great base for any adventures . I would strongly recommend this hotel. Thank you everyone who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable .

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and polite. The owner/manage came up to us and introduced himself and took an interest in where we'd come from and made suggestions as to where locations we should visit. The evening meal was lovely - generous portions - and the breakfast was also great. We've stayed there before and had a lovely time, hence the reason for our return.

The only thing that could be improved upon is the room. Don't get us wrong, the rooms were lovely and suitable for our purpose, but we think they are now due for an update/redecoration, particularly the bathroom.

Great location, stunning setting, and a friendly warm welcome from everyone. Beautiful, comfortable rooms with everything you need. Excellent food and drink! We had the most perfect stay and wish we'd booked longer!

I didn't stay for breakfast. Location was good especially for my work place

Delay in checking out, I was up against time and no one was visible however apology was given and advised was due to staffing issues.

Our first stay. Lunchtime was busy but the staff were very friendly, showing us to our lovely room. They fitted us in for a very good lunch. Our room was excellent and they did an early breakfast for us so we could see our granddaughter in her nativity play. All staff were so polite and we felt very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much.

Nothing apart from the weather!
