Perfect location to get to the zoo. The room was lovely, the staff were amazing and the food was exceptional!! Would 100% recommend and would book again ourselves

Cleanliness, friendliness, room obviously recently refurbished, and quality of drink and food was excellent.

TV too small for room and couldn’t be seen from the bed

Evening meal was very good as was breakfast. Staff very helpful attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking and large beer garden.

Lovely old building. Kind hosts and excellent food. Would definitely stay again if the area.

Old Hunters Lodge is a delightfully old fashioned small hotel, in an excellent country setting. Ideal for a visit to Whipsnade Zoo or Dunstable Downs.

The only couple of minor negatives were a lack of electric sockets in the room and no healthy options (i.e. fruit) at breakfast.

Great find. Brilliant location for Whipsnade Zoo. Great communication with the venue. Very helpful owner. Lovely staff. Nothing too much trouble.
