What a beautiful and welcoming place to stay for one night on a long distance walk. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was lovely and the food was great. A really pleasant stay.

The Old Hunters Lodge stay was fantastic from start to finish. Without hesitation we would recommend this special 15th century inn. The staff were very friendly making us feel very welcome. The double bed room had a really comfortable bed, making for a fantastc sleep as we had to get up early for a 6 hour journey home! Lovely ensuit with bath. Without hesitation we would recommend this very special place.

Lovely cottage, great friendly staff, food was amazing. Great stay all round.

Room was very hot at night, struggled to sleep because of this, even with heating off and windows open.

Extremely helpful and pleasant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Good food and drinks in the pub. Excellent breakfast

No desk and chair in the room, so no where to do her hair and makeup. There was a lot of light coming round the door at night when trying to sleep.
