Location and cleanliness

Tiny bathroom, with terrible tiny wash basin, where you can not even wash your hand and face properly. No central heating. Poor heating in common area. It is not winter friendly. May be okay for summer.

It was exactly as I expected and the common room with the fire is nice.

The location was amazing. It was very convenient to local cafes and bakery. The sound of flowing river was mesmerizing.

The bathroom was too small. The sink was too petite to use. The shower head was old and not in a proper operation.

The owners are trying to sell and haven’t spent any money on the property for a long time. The place is generally unclean and run down. It was nice to stay communal with other guests Beds were comfortable worked ok for a night or two

The room was warm and clean. The communal space was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The shower temperature and pressure were great. The drying room was effective and spacious.

The spa and basketball court were out of order (these should be removed as features from their website, even if they're not in the ad). The BBQ was very dirty (we used the kitchen instead). The shower curtain blows and tries to stick to you.

The location is nice free coffee and milk and microwave for use of guests

Accomodation is quite ran down and would be lovely if someone put alot of money back into it . The beds need replacing There were springs that could be felt on both beds. The bath room has large leaver windows that dont close and in winter it makes for an interesting shower experience furthermore The shower pressure was un satisfactory and a really unusual shower head i guessing to save water ? lodge and room had dead bugs and cob webs around and needed a deep clean. The commen area had a strange smell that was really off putting when walking into a premises im early in pregnacy so made dry wretch. We booked 2 nights paid 200 a night But ended up only staying for 1 night as we left early due to the facilities being unclean and strange smelling and unable to sleep due to the beds being so uncomfortable
