Super old manor house steeped in history with tons of character. Huge room, large bed and plenty of space to sit in the room (sofas, chairs, writing desk, etc.). Delicious breakfast. Friendly dogs and even friendlier hosts. Quiet location in pretty village. Dinner at the Angel restaurant was excellent.

Amazing historical manor house. The room was enormous, bed was super comfortable. The owners were really friendly and loved talking about the history of the house. Fab breakfast to start the day, and two very good pubs within a short walk which were perfect for dinner

The owner's offered amazing hospitality and really went out of their way for us. The manor is beyond stunning! Staying in a rare piece if history is remarkable. The food was also excellent 👍 Would recommend!

The best thing about the place -- though there are a hundred other great things -- is Tim and Sue Soars. "Helpful" and "kind" and "funny" doesn't begin to describe their personalities. Marmaduke and Molly are great, too! I had a bit of a medical problem and they assisted in a big way with getting me to the hospital for treatment. My ancestor Thomas Burnham left Long Crendon for America in 1640; while I am glad he did, it's hard for me to see why because Long Crendon is beautiful. The Manor is a jewel, oozing with history. And the breakfasts were nonpareil. A truly great place to stay!

Nothing could have been better, we LOVED it there.
