Being at the front it was noisy. No breakfast before 9am which is a bit late.

The proximity to the centre

I was in room 5 which was very cold on arrival. I managed to adjust the heating but then the last day and night the radiator didn’t heat up. Lots of noise from downstairs (Bingo and Football), however it was quiet from 10pm. Also the room seems to be a wind trap which could be noisy.

The food was better than average and pretty enjoyable, while reasonably priced.

The rooms were filthy, small and showed a general lack of care and attention. Despite the cleaners having a checklist I saw more dust in my two nights there than I have in the past year! Cleanliness and attention to detail is basic.

Comfy bed

Room was small for the price. No biscuits with the team and coffee. Room overpriced.

Good location and staff were friendly.

Decided to eat in the restaurant. 1 of the starters we ordered wasn't then available and one of the mains we ordered wasn't available. Ideally we should have been informed of this when ordering. We were offered a bowl of chips as a "sweetener ". The chips came when we were half way through eating our main. Great pub, good location, just let down by the evening meal a little.
