Zero breakfast good location, poor Wi-Fi, 3rd floor walkup no elevator or staff to help carry 2 heavy 2 lighter suitcases and several bags and of course no description in advert

'twas a tad noisy in the early morning with the glass bottle bins being emptied. Other than that we really enjoyed it. It's quirky.

The location of the accommodation was perfect for our needs being close to local restaurants and bars, ease of access to Bristol city centre and the local transport links. The room itself was a god size and the facilities provided were sufficient for our needs. We knew beforehand that the rooms were above a pub and so were not expecting a typical hotel reception / foyer. Checking in was straightforward and the staff provided us with the main information that we required. The pub itself was a great place for refreshment and food and also has regular entertainment. There was a pleasant (smallish) courtyard at the rear which was great. The street was fairly quiet although to be fair, our stay was over a bank holiday weekend. Parking was not too difficult - in fact we were able to park for free the entire stay as the street parking is not chargeable Saturdays and Sundays plus bank holidays.

Access to the room (above a pub) was a bit scruffy and not at all welcoming. A little tidying up and a bit of paint would go a long way to improving the image. The sound transference between rooms was a bit of an issue particularly on one of the nights as the couple next door returned at about 4:00 a.m. and proceeded to make quite a bit of noise although thankfully, they didn't last too long! It was rather annoying that everything could be heard through walls. The blinds fitted to the single-glazed, almost impossible to close sash windows, did very little to block out the light - we were awakened very early each morning as a result.

Beautiful room, very clean, cosy and so nicely decorated. Location was perfect, great neighbourhood. We loved that it was above the pub. Coffee, tea, milk & cereal was also bonus. Staff was also very nice and helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much!

It was a very spacious room, nicely furnished in a good location.

Check in is managed by a real estate agent and overly complicated. I had so many emails. Thankfully the staff at the Tavern were super helpful and extremely professional.

The room is nice and the location was good for me.

it didn’t bother me so much but just know that if there’s a theatre play on, it’s quite noisy. After the play has finished, it’s all back to being peaceful.

Great location and very clean and comfortable.

it’s really like an Air BnB which basically means you get no services and it’s pricey for no services.
