Nice apartment, great location, super nice staff at the Alma Tavern. Everything you need if you love Clifton.

Easy to get keys and leave keys lovely room . The stairs are very steep

Very comfortable room, staff on site were lovely. The pub serves lunch and dinner, tasty and good value for money. The pantry area with milk, mineral water and cereal was a lovely touch. There is a little Hungarian cafe two minutes walk away on the same street if you fancy a heartier breakfast. We stayed for the Balloon Fiesta and the room is about 45 minutes walk from the festival site. (1 hour 10 on the way back as they close the suspension bridge after 6.) It is 2 minutes walk away from the bus stop for Temple Meads station, there are many restaurants nearby.

The only thing I didn’t love were the numerous emails, it‘s good to be kept informed but I’m not sure it needed quite this many. The mails also seemed to focus on telling us what not to do, but maybe they had bad experiences in the post and maybe this is standard - I tend to stay in bigger hotels, so maybe they are just different. Also note that as well as giving your credit card to Booking.com you are also asked to provide it to Hopewell and they place a £150 security deposit onto your credit card when you check in. This was no problem and came off my card very quickly, just something to be aware of.
